Hello friends and family! Eric and I welcomed our little girl, Grafton, into the world on January 9, 2009 and our baby boy, James, on December 2, 2010! We have just been blessed with our precious baby girl, Price, who was born August 28, 2012. We feel incredibly blessed and humbled, and we thank our gracious Lord above for all of our amazing family and friends. We hope this blog can give you a glimpse into our lives and a taste of how precious our children are. God is so so good, and we praise His Holy name.

Week 6

Week 6 was a nice and relaxing week. We had our first lunch outing on Sunday and got to meet more of our friends! We also had a girls' night Saturday night and had a big slumber party with Mom and DeeDee. Sunday night we had Father-Daughter time and watched Nascar with dad (as you can see in the pictures!). We are continuously getting more and more of a personality and showing it through our many facial expressions. We love to smile, we have an Elvis lip we like to do, we get serious expressions when we are in deep thought, and we sometimes surprise ourselves with a big smack of the lips! Grafton also has started recognizing people. When Mom walks in the room all eyes are on her, and when DeeDee comes to visit we smile and smile. While I was feeding Grafton this week she could hardly eat because she was too interested in staring at her dad! It is quite gratifying to feel like we make her happy by seeing her smile. What a blessing!

A busy week 5!

Week 5 was a very busy week for Miss Grafton! We started the week off by celebrating her 1 month birthday. We got to meet a new boyfriend, Thomas Carroll, who is only 2 weeks younger than Grafton (Margaret Dillon Carroll's little boy). And we had another visit from Uncle Scott who introduced us to the wii. Saturday we had our first outing- we went to Uptown Coffee for breakfast then shopping at Oxford Kids Company in the afternoon. Valentine's night DeeDee and Pops baby-sat to give mom and dad a much needed date night! Sunday we went to Clarksdale to see GiGi and Pop and meet our cousin Leyton! We had fun laying beside Leyton and watching mom and Aunt Madelyn attempt to take pictures of us! We got to meet our great-great-grandmother, Bijou, and our cousin, Julie, on our way back to Oxford. It was a busy weekend but lots of fun! With the nicer weather and warmer temperatures I can't resist getting Grafton out and about more. And with each day we continue to experience God's grace and love through the eyes of our daughter. I hope the Lord blesses each of you this week!

One Month Old

Today is Grafton's one month birthday! Of course we will have to take some pictures today and I will post those later :) We had an eventful week this week. We went to the Doctor on Thursday and found out she is now up to 7 pounds, 9 ounces! She has gained over a pound and a half in the past month! She is finally outgrowing some of her preemie clothes and is fitting into newborns. We also went on our first stroll around the neighborhood and decided to just sleep through the whole walk. The warm weather is wonderful though and we look forward to more walks this week. Our grandmother Ann came to visit this weekend too! And Grafton finally had her first real bath; she loved splashing and kicking the water! Eric and I are having fun seeing her subtle changes each week. This week we watched as she began following the animals on her mobile with her eyes and turning her head to listen to the sound of Eric's voice and the clicking of his cell phone! She also enjoys laughing at her DeeDee while they dance around the living room! I can't wait to see what this week will bring!

3 Weeks Old

I can't believe January has already come and gone, and Grafton is approaching one month old! We had a good week with some great nights! Only one fussy night, so mom and dad were able to catch up on some much needed rest. Grafton met even more family this week- her great-uncle Jack, her cousin Helen, and her great-great-aunt! Plus Uncle Scott came in town to visit, and so did our friend Michael LaHaie from NYC. The weeks fly by, and Eric and I try our best to soak in every moment we can. We know soon we will look back and not be able to believe how quickly she has grown and how much she has changed. We hope all these pictures we are taking will remind us of all the special times we have had and will continue to have.
