Hello friends and family! Eric and I welcomed our little girl, Grafton, into the world on January 9, 2009 and our baby boy, James, on December 2, 2010! We have just been blessed with our precious baby girl, Price, who was born August 28, 2012. We feel incredibly blessed and humbled, and we thank our gracious Lord above for all of our amazing family and friends. We hope this blog can give you a glimpse into our lives and a taste of how precious our children are. God is so so good, and we praise His Holy name.

5 months!

Sweet little P-nut is FIVE months old already!!  I cannot believe how big she has gotten and how old she is- where did my newborn go?! I took her to the doctor last week for a check-up and she weighs 15 lbs 10 oz and is 23.5 inches long....which means she is in the 75 percentile in weight and 10 percentile in height....which means she is a total butterball and I LOVE it!!! She is full of rolls and full of smiles...exactly how I would want my baby to be!

A lot has happened this month...she got baptized, she celebrated birthdays, she went strolling, she had her first tea party, she played in her playground swing for the first time, she ate rice cereal, and she is trying so so hard to sit up on her own (which happens for about 5 seconds before falling over!).  She is also very, very vocal- always babbling and blowing raspberries.  One day I had James and Price in the car on the way to pick Grafton up from dance, and I could hear Price blowing raspberries over and over and over. I turned around to find James staring at her and laughing- he started pointing and saying "Price funny! Price funny! Ha Ha Ha!" Apparently, James thought Price was doing this to entertain him!

Price is really such a joy.  She smiles ALL the time, is extremely ticklish and giggly, likes being held and loved on, and is very entertained by her siblings.  She likes to laugh at her baby doll and hold its hand (maybe she will be my girlie girl?!), she likes grabbing hair and clothes, she drives James nuts by stealing his blanket or stuffed animal, she is spoiled by Grafton who "baby-sits" her allll the time, she laughs at DeeDee and Daddy a lot, and she loves listening to music. This little P-nut is a blast and we are incredibly thankful for her!

Dates, strolls, play time, and tea

It has been a fun week with the kids- we had Price's first tea party, the first time for all the kids to swing together on our playground, a guy's night for Eric and James, a donut date, and some fun play time outside. These kids are so active, so funny, and so sweet and huggy. They definitely keep me on my toes and leave me exhausted by the end of the day, but I wouldn't have it any other way! Here is a glimpse of our week...

Naps!

Naptime has always been one of my favorite times of the day.  Whether nap time means cuddling, or alone time for me, or rocking kids to sleep, it is always a nice time one way or another. Recently, nap time has taken on a whole new dynamic....Grafton and James have started napping together every day! It's actually one of the sweetest things! They cuddle up in my bed with all their stuffed animals and sippy cups, and they lay down, cuddle up a bit, and sleep for a good 2+ hours! And somehow Price usually naps at the same time so I can get a little nap in too or at least a little down time for myself. Here are a few pictures of the sweet togetherness...

Little Stuff

Oh how I love the little stuff about my days at home with the kids.  I love the craft projects we try to do, the pretend camp sites we have, the car races and games we play, and cuddle times we get to do.  These kids really are sweet and loving....they do scream and fight like all children....but the hugs and giggles make me quickly forget the not-so-sweet times! Some of my favorite snapshots of the days are when I catch James and Grafton dancing and singing together, or when I hear Grafton trying to read a book to James, or when they are cuddled up on the couch playing on the iPad or watching TV...just sweet little moments. Here are some fun pictures below from some of the little moments of the days this week.  God blessed me with these moments and opened my eyes to see their beauty...I'm so so thankful for that!
