Hello friends and family! Eric and I welcomed our little girl, Grafton, into the world on January 9, 2009 and our baby boy, James, on December 2, 2010! We have just been blessed with our precious baby girl, Price, who was born August 28, 2012. We feel incredibly blessed and humbled, and we thank our gracious Lord above for all of our amazing family and friends. We hope this blog can give you a glimpse into our lives and a taste of how precious our children are. God is so so good, and we praise His Holy name.

Baptism and Update

It has been a busy couple of weeks in the Graeber household, and Grafton has been growing and developing so much. She rolls over a lot now, and one night I woke up to find Grafton on her stomach! She had flipped over in her sleep! She sleeps through the night most nights- from about 9:30 or 10:00 till 6:30. I am so proud of her! She also has found new noises to make- she has her loud screams when she gets frustrated, her little shrills when she is excited, and her quiet "oh's" when we are in church and it is just too quiet in there!

This past week we went to Jonesboro to visit Eric's mother, grandparents, and cousins. It was so great to meet some of the cousins and visit with his family. And this weekend brought Double Decker and Grafton's baptism! We had a cookout at our house Saturday night and Grafton got to play with her boyfriend Reid. I couldn't have asked for a better day on Sunday- Grafton was just perfect for her baptism! She didn't cry and she just stared at the preacher through the whole service. She is such a good little girl! She was worn out after church and slept through the big lunch we had at the Ravine to celebrate her big day.

Eric and I continue to be amazed and over-joyed by this little girl. We love her so much then somehow, the next day, we love her even more! We are so humbled to see the miracles God performs each day through our child.

3 months old and Easter!

Grafton turned 3 months old last week and also celebrated her first Easter! She had a visit from the Easter bunny and was baffled by the big eyes and ears. She stared at the bunny for a long time in amazement. Over the weekend we took her to another baseball game, and this week she has spent lots of time with DeeDee and Pops! I don't know what we would do without them here to babysit and give us a few nights out.

The big news with Grafton right now is that she rolled over for the first time this week! First she rolled over on our bed, then the next day she rolled over on her play-mat during tummy time! She also is VERY into splashing during her bath. I may as well wear a raincoat because I am soaking wet when we are finished. She kicks her legs really hard then looks at me and smiles- it cracks me up! She definitely has attitude already!

Grafton continues to bring us so much love and joy. She is just a little bundle of happiness and we truly feel blessed!

Week 12

Grafton turns 3 months old this week, and I cannot believe 3 months ago we were waiting for her arrival! I can barely remember what I used to do before she was here! Eric and I feel so blessed to have had such an amazing first 3 months of her life and cannot begin to imagine the new experiences we will have in the next 3 months! Grafton is still such a happy little girl; she smiles all the time and talks, talks, talks. This weekend Grafton went to her first Ole Miss baseball game (Friday AND Saturday) and loved being outside. At times, all the clapping and shouting would startle her, but I think she liked being on display for everyone to see! We also went to Clarksdale this weekend for our Nephew's baptism (Leyton Marley). Leyton did so well- he is such a well-behaved and laid-back little boy! There was a big party afterwards at the Graeber's house, and Grafton got to meet lots of family and friends. We also went by her great-great grandmother's house (Bijou)and she got to hold Grafton and play with her a little. As you can see in the pictures, Grafton is attempting to roll over. I wake up in the morning and find her sideways in her crib! She is usually very very busy kicking her legs and getting up on her side. She just cracks us up and brings such light to our life!

Now that she is about 3 months old, I guess I will stop the weekly pictures! They had to end sometime, huh?! I will still do half month and month pictures though- so still look for updates every week or two! Hope everyone is having a fantastic Spring and that your Easter is full of love and joy!
