Hello friends and family! Eric and I welcomed our little girl, Grafton, into the world on January 9, 2009 and our baby boy, James, on December 2, 2010! We have just been blessed with our precious baby girl, Price, who was born August 28, 2012. We feel incredibly blessed and humbled, and we thank our gracious Lord above for all of our amazing family and friends. We hope this blog can give you a glimpse into our lives and a taste of how precious our children are. God is so so good, and we praise His Holy name.

Family Day in Memphis

What a fun weekend we had, beginning with a great day in Memphis on Saturday. My high school graduating class decided to all get together with our children for a big playdate Saturday morning, and it was so much fun seeing everyone and their precious little girls and boys. The kids played great together, there were no tears and fights, and the mommies had fun catching up and comparing stories. It was wonderful, and I think we are looking forward to another one this Spring as we celebrate our 15 year high school reunion.

After the play date, we decided to take the kids to the zoo. It was a little cold, it started to sprinkle on us a little bit, but we were in Memphis so we were going to go to the zoo!! The kids had a BLAST! There weren't too many people there given the yucky weather, so we had our run of the place. The kids ended up seeing all the animals, petting some, and playing at some of the exhibits. After the zoo, the kids napped in the car, and then we went to Benihana for an early dinner. The kids LOVED watching the men cook our food in front of us! It was really a lot of fun!

I am so thankful for days like Saturday- filled with family, filled with fun, filled with love, and filled with a lot of happy smiles! It was perfect.

Such a fun play date with kids ranging from 10 months to 5 years old!

The zoo! The kids love the penguins.

Price played chase with the chickens and ducks!

 Reindeer!
Ferris Wheel ride- the kids' favorite!

Dinner at Benihana was a big treat for us all!

Joy to the World! Merry Christmas!

It was a wonderful Christmas day (minus Eric having a stomach bug) filled with toys, laughter, hugs, great food, family, a few tears, and lots of love! Santa did a great job this year, bringing bikes, a rocking chair, games, puzzles, a stroller and doll, a princess castle, and tons of dress up clothes! James got a lot of Spiderman stuff and Grafton has more princess things than she knows what to do with! James got his first bike and can ride that thing all over the place already! We were blessed to have a beautiful sunny day so the kids could play outside a lot. Uncle Scott was so sweet to jump with them on the trampoline and bounce them all over the place! I'm sad that Eric missed out on so much Christmas fun, but I'm glad that DeeDee and Uncle Scott were here to take the attention away! I love our little family so much and feel blessed beyond measure to have them all in my life. Merry Merry Christmas!

The night before Christmas

What a wonderful Christmas Eve we had in Oxford! We began the day with our annual tradition- one present for each child as soon as they wake up! Then we met Pops at Chick-fil-a for lunch, we shopped for a couple of last minute presents, finished putting together some toys during naptime, then got ready for our amazing dinner cooked and prepared by DeeDee! DeeDee really outdid herself this year- the food was absolutely delicious and we all ate a little more than we should have! We opened presents after dinner, and oh my goodness we were all spoiled rotten this year. We lit candles on a birthday cake and sang Happy Birthday to Jesus before heading to bed so that Santa could come! The only downside to our perfect night came as the kids were going to bed....and Eric ended up catching a stomach bug for the 2nd time in a week!!!! Luckily Scott was here to help me with all the presents and surprises while the children slept- he was a lifesaver! Here is a glimpse into our blessed night filled with family, love, and so much joy. Thank you, Lord, for blessing us so so much this Christmas.
