Hello friends and family! Eric and I welcomed our little girl, Grafton, into the world on January 9, 2009 and our baby boy, James, on December 2, 2010! We have just been blessed with our precious baby girl, Price, who was born August 28, 2012. We feel incredibly blessed and humbled, and we thank our gracious Lord above for all of our amazing family and friends. We hope this blog can give you a glimpse into our lives and a taste of how precious our children are. God is so so good, and we praise His Holy name.

And the Halloween festivities begin...

Grafton has been so excited to wear her Halloween costume- she has been trying it on for months now and prancing around the house knowing how cute she looks. This year Grafton is an ice cream cone, and James is a monkey!  Tonight was the fall carnival at our church, which Grafton has gone to for the past three Halloweens, and it was the best yet. Eric and Pops were out of town, so DeeDee and I took the kids. Grafton literally played almost every game there, painted a pumpkin, got her fingernail painted (she picked purple polish!), and pranced across the stage in the costume show. She had an absolute blast and would have stayed all night if we had let her. This is the kick-off to lots of fun Halloween parties ahead- should be a fun week!

This and That

While Eric has been working his long, crazy hours recently, the kids and I have been trying to have lots of fun without missing Daddy too too much. We have gone on walks, played and played inside, gone out to eat, and have had some good cuddle time. Just when I think things are going perfectly, Grafton will call her Daddy and say "Daddy will you please come home and play with me?!"- melts my heart!  Anyways, here are some pictures from the past few days...

Football, Football, Football

Today marked another fun football weekend with the family! It just never gets old spending the day in the Grove with our children, my brother, my parents, and some wonderful friends. As usual, the kids had a great time at the game, ate and slept in the grove, then played all afternoon.  I didn't get many pictures from the grove, but both kids were putting on their smiles for shots at the game!

All Aboard!!

Grafton and James have such a fun time playing together (unless James happens to be playing with one of Grafton's toys of course) and this week was no different. Grafton discovered that she can put James in her wagon and pull him around the house, so of course this is her new favorite thing to do! Here are a few pictures from the other day when she figured out this new game. James wasn't the most comfortable in the wagon, but he was so excited and overjoyed that his Sissy was showing him some attention that he couldn't stop smiling and laughing!  She wouldn't slow down long enough for me to get a good one, but at least this gives an idea of the fun they were both having!

The Beauty Shop

Grafton has talked for months about wanting to go to the beauty shop and get her hair cut.  So today I took Grafton and James to both get their 1st haircuts together! I thought it was kinda cute for them to get their first cuts at the same time, and I wanted someone we knew well to do it.  So DeeDee and I loaded up the kids and took off to Germantown to have a family friend cute their hair. Grafton was sooooo excited and woke up this morning saying "I get to go to the BEAUTY SHOP today Mommy!!"  She let me take lots of pictures, and she was such a big girl the entire time. She wasn't too thrilled with the shampoo station, and she said her favorite part was when Mr. Bob brushed her hair. So precious. And James was a true champ as well! He sat so still for Mr. Bob to cut trim his hair up a little, and was mesmerized by the comb and scissors. I was so proud of both children. We even got to surprise Daddy for a birthday lunch today too! Here are lots and lots and lots of pictures from today....

Getting ready to leave the house to get haircuts!!
