Grafton learning how to be a big sis

Grafton is going to be a big sister!! Eric and I are having baby #2- due December 5th.  Grafton's world will definitely be changing but I know it will be for the better.  She will be such a helpful and loving big sister!  I know she can't possibly understand what is going on, but when we tell her she is going to be a big sister she gets so excited!  It is precious :)

Beach trip

As you can tell in the pictures, Grafton had a blast at the beach this year! The sand was fun, the pool was great, and she loved playing with all the children we saw. There was a little carnival in town, and Grafton loved riding the merry-go-round and train with Daddy! It was a wonderful family trip, and we are already looking forward to next year!

Another day at the beach

We have had such a fun time so far at the beach!  Grafton loves, loves, loves the sand and has so much fun in her boats at the pool.  She is definitely our water baby. The weather has been great and the temperatures are perfect- low 80's and breezy.  So glad we still have the rest of the week to enjoy ourselves.  Here are some pictures from the last couple days....

Beach babe!

Grafton is at the beach!!  Eric and I came to Florida and invited my parents and brother to join us.  Grafton just loves the water so much and could play in the pool all day long.  Today was a beach day- her first since last year- and we were unsure of how she would like it.  She doesn't really like to get dirty, so the sand presented a problem at first!  However, after about 15 minutes, Daddy took her to the ocean and she fell in love!  She walked all over the beach, played with her shovels, pails, and beach toys, and had a blast!  I am looking forward to the rest of the week with our beach babe :)

Mother's Day Weekend

We had a fun Mother's Day weekend with my family.  My brother and Jamie came in town, and we celebrated all weekend!  Grafton has so much fun when we are all together- she constantly has a playmate.  Here are a few pictures from breakfast Saturday morning.  We had my parents over and cooked a big breakfast for everyone!  Here is also a picture of Grafton with her cousin Henry- she looooooves when Henry comes to play with her!  They decided to get into her cozy coupe together, and Grafton didn't want to let him out!

Pigtails!

Grafton got her first set of pigtails today!! She wasn't too sure about them at first and would pull them out, then she would fuss till I put them back in!  This is the only picture I could get!

Best friend

I figured it was time to once again show Grafton with her best friend....Tucker.  She still just loves him soooo much and can't leave him alone. She loves to sit on him, stand on him, pet him, chase him, and play tug-o-war with him!  I really don't know what we would do without such a sweet, patient and loving dog!  We also set up Grafton's picnic table in the den, and she has had so much fun sitting like a big girl and playing with her toys. She will grab her snacks and sippy cup and take off to the table- then sit there for quite awhile playing and eating!  It is precious!
