Halloween!

Halloween is always such a fun week our Oxford. We have lots of parties and trick-or-treat days and carnivals. It is a blast to wear different costumes and be silly.

Carnival at First Baptist! It was a blast being with friends and family. It was a perfect way to kick off the week of Halloween!

 The kids had a blast making monster cookies for our Halloween party!

 Trick or Treating at Ole Miss is always fun. The kids get candy from the sorority houses and then play at the carnival after. They paint faces, jump in bounce houses, and get snacks. It a cute bonus of living in a college town!

 The night before Halloween, we had a big party at our house! We cooked out, played in the backyard, then headed out to trick or treat. Some neighborhoods changed the trick or treating to the 30th due to the potential for storms on the 31st, so it worked out perfect! We loved having friends and family over to our house to play. I think it'll be a new tradition!

 Halloween was a rainy day, so we went to the North Oxford Baptist carnival, then headed to a neighborhood to trick or treat a little more. It was a good, relaxing day!

October craziness

One thing I love about the kids' school is that parents are welcome anytime! I love going over there and helping in the classroom or just sticking my head in to say hi to the children. I also love surprising Grafton with lunch each week! It is special getting to steal a hug from this sweet girl during the school day. 

 She is such a delight!

 My long time friend Michael LaHaie is getting married!!!! YAY!!! I was so happy to be able to celebrate him at his engagement party in Memphis and to meet his precious bride. They are such a sweet and adorable couple- I couldn't be happier for them!

 I love my little family!

 Our annual trip to Cedar Hill Farms never disappoints! We love everything from the hayride to the pumpkin patch to feeding the animals to watching the pig races to riding the ponies! It was absolute favorite!!!

 It was a rainy day in the grove but still a good time!

 Painting pumpkins!  I think we painted 6 pumpkins this year- the kids love it so much!

 Poor James got his first black eye. It was an accident on the trampoline with Grafton, and this poor guy ended up with quite a yucky booboo. It got worse and worse and took about 3 weeks to finally go away!

 A wonderful time in Nashville! We helped Scott move into his new house, we celebrated Eric's birthday, and we played with my dear friend Catherine. It was a great weekend.

 We went on a field trip with James's class to a pumpkin patch. It was a blast watching him play with his friends and be the silly little boy he is!
