Hello friends and family! Eric and I welcomed our little girl, Grafton, into the world on January 9, 2009 and our baby boy, James, on December 2, 2010! We have just been blessed with our precious baby girl, Price, who was born August 28, 2012. We feel incredibly blessed and humbled, and we thank our gracious Lord above for all of our amazing family and friends. We hope this blog can give you a glimpse into our lives and a taste of how precious our children are. God is so so good, and we praise His Holy name.

Snow!!!

What a fun way to celebrate Christmas....with SNOW!!!! Grafton had a blast building snowmen and running around in the white powder!

Christmas!!!

We had such a magical Christmas- beginning with waking up at 7 in the morning to a WHITE CHRISTMAS!!! We had about an inch and a half of snow on the ground, and Eric and I were so excited to wake the kids up and show them the snow!  After looking out the window at the white blanket covering the ground, we took Grafton out to see what Santa brought her.  DeeDee and Pops came over to watch, and Scott was there to video.  Grafton was soooo excited and yelled out "OH LOOK!" when she walked into the den and saw all the toys!!  She was very spoiled by Santa (aka DeeDee, Pops, Mommy, Daddy, and Scott!) this year and got a kitchen, seesaw, piano, jeep, table and chairs, baby doll with stroller and carrier, lots of puzzles and games, etc.  And best of all....Uncle Scott gave the kids a bounce house!!!  Grafton has wanted to jump in it every day and just laughs and laughs the whole time.

After Santa came, we went to Clarksdale to see Eric's family and visit with his cousins, Aunts, Grandmother, and brothers and sisters. It is always a lot of fun to see everyone and get the whole family together in one place. There are so many kids and Grafton has such a fun time watching and playing with her cousins.  It seems every year there is at least one new baby...and this year there were 3!

It was an amazing Christmas, and Eric and I couldn't stop talking about how blessed we are with our children, our family, and our friends.  God has truly blessed us in so many ways.

Christmas Eve

For Christmas Eve we went to my parents house and had a wonderful dinner, opened way too many presents, and had some great family time. Grafton had soooo many presents to open from DeeDee and Pops- she started in the afternoon and didn't finish till right before bedtime!  Here are lots of pictures....

Week 3

What a wonderful week 3 that we had with James, getting ready for the Christmas holiday! James is sleeping well- wakes up once or twice a night but usually goes right back to sleep. He eats sooo much and has a good bit of "awake" time during the day. Grafton still loves to help with James and tells him "I love you James" all the time. Here are a few pictures from his week 3....

This and That

This has been a fun week with some good family moments and some funny Grafton times!  The kids had more cuddle time with Daddy, Grafton smothered James with kisses, and she chased and terrorized the dogs!

Dinner out

Eric and I took the kids to Chick-fil-A for dinner last weekend- it was James' first dinner out and he slept the whole time!  Grafton had a blast, as usual, playing on the playground.  We had a fun time having Daddy home and spending some good family time together!

Bath time

Luckily James loves bath time and Grafton loves helping wash him!  It is a fun activity for us to do together and Grafton feels like such a helper afterwards.  I sure am thankful to have such a sweet little girl who loves her brother soooo much, and a little boy who is laid back and lets her sister do anything to him!

Mommy's Helper

Grafton has been such a big helper since James was born.  Today I was going to give him a bottle and she said "Mommy I do it!" So I let her sit up on the couch and give her baby brother a bottle for the first time. It was so sweet, and I was excited to be able to capture it in a picture!

Grafton vs James

I have been amazed at how much Grafton and James resemble each other.  Here are a couple pictures from their Weeks 1 and 2 to show the comparison.
