Hello friends and family! Eric and I welcomed our little girl, Grafton, into the world on January 9, 2009 and our baby boy, James, on December 2, 2010! We have just been blessed with our precious baby girl, Price, who was born August 28, 2012. We feel incredibly blessed and humbled, and we thank our gracious Lord above for all of our amazing family and friends. We hope this blog can give you a glimpse into our lives and a taste of how precious our children are. God is so so good, and we praise His Holy name.

Easter egg hunt

Grafton went to her first Easter egg hunt Sunday afternoon with our church.  I thought she would be more interested in watching all of the kids, but I was wrong.  She was all about finding eggs and putting them in her bunny basket that DeeDee bought her!  We helped out of course, but she did so well at hunting them down!  Afterwards we had snacks and talked with other families.  It was a fun afternoon and Grafton had such a good time!

A day at the Park

Today was such a beautiful day in Oxford that we had to take Grafton to the park.  As I have mentioned before, Grafton LOVES being outside.  She sometimes has a little fit because she wants to be outside ALL THE TIME.  So I thought today was a perfect day to take her to the park....wide open space for her to run allllll around without me having to be on her tail every second.  Grafton had a blast at the park!  She saw a few children, but really the wide open space and many, many dogs captured our attention the most.  Every dog she spotted she had to walk over to and pet.  The dogs were definitely the highlight of the park for Grafton :)  When we got home we had to go on another walk around the neighborhood in our wagon....just because today was sooooo pretty and we didn't want to be inside!  I am so proud of how much Grafton is growing and learning- literally each day she makes me so happy to be her mother.

Weekend fun

Last weekend was filled with fun family time!  Friday we went to the Ole Miss- Memphis basketball game and cheered on the Rebels as we took down the Tigers.  Grafton had a fun time watching the cheerleaders, clapping for the team, and running up and down the corridor! We have also started a fun Saturday morning routine- getting up early and going to the coffee shop on the square, walking around the square for a while, then ending with storytime at the children's bookstore.  It is a nice way to start off the day- getting out and about and entertaining Grafton with much that Oxford has to offer. We have fun meeting other parents and children around town. Uncle Scott came to see us last weekend so it was fun having him there for our family rituals also!  Grafton just loves him so much and laughs and laughs at her uncle.  Such a joy to see :)  Here are a few pictures from the weekend.

Daffodils!!

Today has been so beautiful that I had to take advantage of the Spring weather and get some pictures of Grafton with the daffodils!  We went to Eric's Aunt's house and took pictures in her garden.  Grafton loved the flowers but was way too interested in the cat and dog!  Here are a few shots we got though:

Messing around

Grafton is loving this pretty weather we have head recently!  She loves taking strolls in her wagon and swinging on the back porch.  She also has another new favorite.....playing in the cabinets and putting the strainer on her head!  We have one cabinet with plastic bowls and such in, and Grafton knows she can play in that cabinet.  One night we were cooking dinner and Grafton got into the cabinet like usual.  Next thing I know she has the plastic strainer on her head and is chasing the dogs around the house!!! Ha!  It was hilarious!!  She would walk in circles around our kitchen island, stopping every few minutes to peak out from under the colander, then going right back to chasing the dogs.  Now she loves getting it out every night and playing with it!  Here are a couple pictures from the past week- one, of course, of the favorite colander!

Just chillin'

Grafton loves playing with all of her toys and rearranging everything in the den, nursery, bathroom, everywhere! She has a fold-up chair that she carries all around the house, but this week took it to a whole new level. The other night she decided to carry it to Daddy, who was sitting in a chair, and have him put it in his lap so she could sit in her chair ON the chair with Daddy!  I had to grab my camera quickly because that was just too crazy to miss! She is constantly making us laugh- whether by dancing, chasing the dogs, trying to run over us with her push toys, or piling toys up in her chair and trying to sit on them all!  Last week I started teaching her about different animals (getting her ready for a zoo visit) and within days she could point to the giraffe, duck, bird, lion, bunny, dog, cat, and baby (it was a baby Bible so there was a picture of baby moses!).  It is amazing how they can just soak up so much right now and learn things so easily.  Here are a few pictures from the last couple days.  She has been sick all weekend with fever but is still such a trooper!  She has had a blast with the pretty weather and lights up when we go outside- I think she will definitely be our outdoorsy girl!
