Hello friends and family! Eric and I welcomed our little girl, Grafton, into the world on January 9, 2009 and our baby boy, James, on December 2, 2010! We have just been blessed with our precious baby girl, Price, who was born August 28, 2012. We feel incredibly blessed and humbled, and we thank our gracious Lord above for all of our amazing family and friends. We hope this blog can give you a glimpse into our lives and a taste of how precious our children are. God is so so good, and we praise His Holy name.

Swim time

Grafton is pretty much obsessed with the swimming pool these days, so we try to make it over to my parents house on the weekends for her to play.  One of her favorite pool time toys is....the water hose!  We put it in there to make the water a little cooler, and Grafton immediately grabs it and sprays herself and anyone around!  She cracks herself up spraying it and just totally drenches herself in cold water!  She also likes her little inner tube and has become quite daring with it.  She will jump off the step of the shallow end and hold on to her inner tube while kicking her legs through the deep end.  Of course we are right there to catch her if she falls, but she really can hold herself up and move through the water so well by herself!  She will be our little swimmer for sure. Here are some pictures from last weekend-

Spoiled?

Do you think this sweet little girl is spoiled much???  Most of these toys have come from her DeeDee and Pops and the poor thing will be in for a rude awakening when baby boy James comes into the picture in December!  Grafton is such a sweet little girl and is just growing and changing so much all the time.  This week she was in the backseat and started singing "Moo, moo, moo...E-I-E-I-O"!  Apparently that is her version of Old MacDonald!  And she loves to say "Thank you" "You're Welcome!" in a sweet high pitched voice.  She also asks for Barney and Elmo by name and hands me the remote control to turn on the TV shows!  We bought her a new video that teaches children the alphabet, and she is so good at repeating all the letters.  Supposedly most children can recognize the letters after just 2 weeks, so we'll see!  As you can see, I am just so proud of our little princess.  She makes me so happy and so thankful that to be her Mommy.  I just never get tired of her sweet kisses, her sweet voice saying "momma," and her naps she still takes with me.

4th of July pool fun

The day after 4th of July we kept celebrating with a big lunch at DeeDee and Pops' house and some pool time fun.  Grafton is almost obsessed with the pool and constantly wants to be swimming.  She has learned to use her inner tube to hold herself up, so now she goes to the deep end and floats. She also discovered the water hose and had a blast spraying everyone, and herself, in the pool.  She is such a silly little girl and constantly reminds us how blessed we are!

4th of July!

We came home early from Ocean Springs so that we could spend 4th of July afternoon with my family. After sleeping 3 hours on the way home, Grafton was ready to run around and play at DeeDee and Pops' house!  She discovered their island in the kitchen and loved getting in and out of the cabinets.  We had a BBQ dinner with DeeDee and Pops, Uncle Scott and Jamie, then went to watch fireworks at the stadium.  Grafton LOVED watching the fireworks- she would raise her hands in the air and say "POP" really loudly!  Poor Maggie on the other hand was scared to death of the noise and probably won't be coming with us again! It was a late night but lots of fun.

Fun in Ocean Springs

This weekend we went to Ocean Springs to visit Eric's brother, Jason, and his family.  Jason's son Thomas turned 2 a few days ago and we celebrated his birthday with a party at the pool Saturday.  It was so fun to be there for Thomas's party and to spend time with family.  We had a wonderful time and look forward to going back again when their twins are born!

Ice Cream

Grafton has discovered ice cream this summer and absolutely loves the cold treat.  We give her some nearly everyday and she just dances around when she sees it coming!  We were at DeeDee and Pops' house last week and Pops fed her an ice cream popsicle.....here is the damage....
