Halloween Carnival

Tonight we went to a halloween carnival at our church and Grafton had a great time watching all of the older children. The costumes were very entertaining- Grafton loved all the colors and crazy clothes. She dressed up as a little bunny and looked just precious. Here are a few pictures from the night....

Hotty Toddy!

Last weekend was another fun, and finally beautiful, day in the grove! Grafton had a fun time playing in the Grove and did so well at the game with us. Here are a few pictures from the day. One of her boyfriends, Reid Wells, came to visit in the Grove and Grafton got her first kiss from a boyfriend....cutest thing ever!

Pumpkin Patch!

I took Grafton to the pumpkin patch at the Episcopal Church today to get some cute pictures. She loved playing in the hay, patting the pumpkins, and trying to roll the pumpkins around. Here are a few of the pics we got-

Playing

Grafton still loves to play (I think I write this same post every month!) and she can just play by herself for an hour if I let her! She crawls all around, pulls up on her toys, loves to throw things, and plays catch. She has discovered the dvd shelf and the book shelf in her room and this provides hours of entertainment. She crawls over and takes out all the books and dvds- such fun. Here are a few pictures from playing yesterday...

Eric's birthday, visiting friends, playing...

Eric's 30th birthday was last Sunday and we had a fun surprise party for him- and somehow I kept it a secret!! We had fun celebrating his birthday with our little girl, too- she just adds even more joy to every occassion. Here are a couple of pictures from the birthday, and one from a short visit with my friend Catherine and her daughter Kaiser. Then the last one is of Grafton being mischeivious....right before she decided to pull out all of my brother's dvd's from the cabinet!

A cooooold game in Oxford

Last weekend was a cold day for a football game, but we still went to the Grove and cheered on the Rebels! Grafton was bundled up and had a fun time watching everyone come by to see her. I sure am lucky to have such a social little girl- she loves the crowd and loves being in the middle of all the action! Here are some pictures from the Grove...

Playing with the cousins....

Grafton had such a fun time this weekend seeing her cousins Thomas and Leyton. Thomas is 6 months older than Grafton- he is Eric's brother Jason's little boy, and Leyton is a month older than Grafton- he is Eric's sister Madelyn's little boy. It was adorable watching them all play together. Grafton was just in awe of the older boys- she had a blast watching them! I can already tell that Grafton will need to be one tough chick around these boys! Here are a couple of pictures from today....

The Grove

It was COLD day in the grove on Saturday but Grafton rallied with the best of them! She was bundled up in her sweater, tights, and "lamb" hat and had a fun time! Here are a few pics from the day....

9 months old!

Wow- our baby girl is 9 months old already! She is looking more and more like a little girl instead of a baby now (if that makes sense). Grafton is crawling all over the place and pulling up on everything. She can stand for a few seconds without holding on but can't take any steps yet. She loves eating her puffs and we all know if she doesn't like something I give her...she throws it across the room! We still have Miss Personality on our hands- she is constantly talking, blowing raspberries, sticking her tongue out, chasing the dogs, playing with her toys, etc. She is still a really good sleeper and napper- her schedule is pretty much on target each day. My favorite part of the day is still our morning nap- she gets in bed with me after breakfast and cuddles up for an hour nap- that hour is so precious to me. :) She is a really big cuddler and I love it! She is very social- we take her to the grove and she loves watching all the people, she is good at the football games, good out shopping or at restaurants, etc. We really are so blessed. I just realized that I hadn't posted anything in 2 weeks- gosh I am slacking! Anyways, here are some pictures from the past couple of weeks. Most are of Grafton being her sweet little self- crawling, playing with the dogs, cuddling, etc. I cannot believe her 9 month birthday is this weekend- she is just growing up too quickly. So...having said that...you know you can expect more pictures this weekend of her 9 month birthday and more from the grove/football game on Saturday....
