Hello friends and family! Eric and I welcomed our little girl, Grafton, into the world on January 9, 2009 and our baby boy, James, on December 2, 2010! We have just been blessed with our precious baby girl, Price, who was born August 28, 2012. We feel incredibly blessed and humbled, and we thank our gracious Lord above for all of our amazing family and friends. We hope this blog can give you a glimpse into our lives and a taste of how precious our children are. God is so so good, and we praise His Holy name.

Happy Graduation, sweet James!

Today we celebrate sweet James as he graduates from preschool at First Baptist Church. I remember his first day of school when we was 21 months old. I was afraid he may cry or not want to go, but instead he JUMPED out of the car, ran back to give me a kiss, then smiled his big dimply grin and told me bye! That morning was bittersweet- I was sad to see my precious little boy start school, but oh how thankful I was that he was excited and eager to start that phase of his little life.

Every year has been like that for him...he has LOVED each year of school, he has made new friends and has adored his teachers, and now we have to say good-bye to this precious place. His teachers tell me that he is a big helper, he makes his friends laugh, and that he loves life. They say he gives BIG hugs and makes everyone feel special.  I love that about him, and I pray he continues to be that same child as he enters Pre-K at Regents next year. For now, we say good-bye to this preschool program with sad but thankful hearts- they loved our sweet boy BIG and they taught him God's love.

Today was Price's last day of school, too! She loved watching James's graduation!

Sweet boy got a little nervous walking in today!

 I love his little personality!

Mrs. Brenda and Mrs. Glenda hold a special place in our hearts! They taught Grafton, they just finished with James, and they will teach Price soon!

May fun

May started off with a bang! Eric and I had our first weekend away in FIVE years!!!! We went to Nashville and had a ball! We shopped, ate, listened to music, played with Scott and Mandy, and did whatever we wanted to do child-free! It was loads of fun. I am forever thankful for DeeDee keeping the kids for us so we could have a little "us" time!

First pool day of the season!

These two have a special little bond
James has been counting down the days until the snow cone place will open....so we were there to enjoy it the first day it finally did!

Our sweet neighbors of 5 years moved away.  It's always hard to see friends come and go, but even harder when you have been through births, preschool, life changes, and many play dates together. We wish the Moser family many blessings as they start their new life in Vermont.
 She is HYSTERICAL
Grafton's class had a Mother's Day Tea last week. They sang for us, recited to us, made us food, and spoiled us rotten! It was wonderful getting to celebrate with the sweet girl her made me a mommy 6 years ago!

Once a month we have "Girls' night" and "Boys' night" for the family. I had a blast with my little girls- some Mexican food, shopping, and exercising! Perfect!
Loved celebrating this special woman on Mother's Day! She means the world to me and we are all so blessed to have her!

Celebrating a Risen Savior!

How wonderful it is to celebrate Easter and rejoice that Jesus died for our sins but rose from the grave. Every time I read the Easter story, my heart is filled with so much emotion as I imagine the pain, the sadness, the bravery, the gift Jesus gave us. Nothing is more amazing than what He did for us. And I love that each year, as the children get older, they understand more and more what it is all about. What a precious sound it is to hear children singing about God's love, telling others why we celebrate Easter, and explaining to you the meaning of it. It sure makes this Mama's heart full of love and thankfulness that they "get it."

We enjoyed celebrating with friends, our church, and our family....here are many, many pictures below!
