Beachy Easter Eve

Today was a beautiful, warm, fun, and sweet Easter Eve at the beach! We swam, we napped, we played, and we had a great night. But we are not going to lose sight of the meaning of this holiday....the resurrection of Jesus Christ who saved us so many years ago. Thank you, dear Lord, for blessing us with your son....thank you, Jesus, for dying on the cross to save us all....and thank you, Holy Spirit, for filling our hearts with so much love, comfort, peace, and joy.  What blessings.

 

 

 

A family beach day

What a wonderful day it was on the beach with the whole fam! The kids are always very excited to have daddy and Uncle Scott on the beach because they throw them into the waves, build cool sand castles, jump in the pool, and throw the football and frisbee with them. Lots of fun for all of us!

 

 

 

 

 

 

A surprise beach trip!

A few days ago we had the brilliant idea to take a last minute trip to the beach for Easter! The weather was supposed to be warm, the kids were off of school, and no one was using the Graeber's condo in Blue Mountain Beach....a perfect time to take a little vacation!  The kids have been begging to go to the beach so they were ecstatic!! Sweet DeeDee came with me and the kids after school on Wednesday, Eric and Scott drove down late Thursday night, and we will all be here for a long weekend!
