Happy Baptism Day to our sweet Pricey girl. I am always a little overly emotional on baptism days...it just brings back to reality that these precious children are GOD'S children, given to us here on this earth, but ultimately HIS children to love and cherish and raise up. What an amazing blessing we are given...to be able to hold His child and love His child, to kiss on the cheeks that He created and squeeze those chunky legs that He planned for her to have. I love that Baptism days remind me that I am vowing to raise this child to know God and love God- through words and actions of my own. And I love the prayer that Pat always says- thanking God for Price's hands that will serve Him and her feet that will be busy doing things for Him. I think as parents, we can get caught up in the feeding and sleeping routines of the day, the cute gowns and bubbles we dress our babies in, the milestones we are trying to hit- and we forget that ultimately we need to focus on raising this child as a child of God....THAT is what matters. I am thankful for this Baptism day, the friends and family who celebrated with us, and the Lord above who is pouring out His love on our precious Price. Such a glorious day!
