On Saturday, we loaded up and went to Memphis for a fun and busy day! We started the morning at Gibson's donuts...quite possibly the best donuts in the world and a childhood favorite of every Memphian! We shopped at Cottontails, then headed downtown for the Big Scoop Festival benefitting the Ronald McDonald House. Scott helps with this charity event every year, but this is the first year we have been able to go. The kids had so much fun tasting ice cream, playing games, and running around with Uncle Scott! Afterwards, we took the kids to the Peabody to see the ducks, walked around downtown a little while, then rode a trolley which they have been dying to do!! We stopped by Target on the way home (guilty pleasure) then got back to Oxford in time to watch our football game on TV! It was a fun and exhausting day! Then Sunday Eric's brother's family came by for a while after church and the kids got to play. As I have said before, my kids LOVE their cousins!! What a special treat to get to play with them yesterday.
