Our "happy" place!

I think it is safe to say that the beach is our "happy" place. We are a "sun and sand" kind of family! Throw a swimming pool in there too, and we could live there forever! Today is one of those absolutely perfect days at the beach. It is 72 degrees, not a cloud in the sky, and a breeze to keep us cool. There are a few Spring Breakers here, but it's not crowded at all. The kids are having so much fun finding shells, jumping in the waves, and building sand castles. Grafton has been "laying out" in the ocean, with her legs stretched out and head bent back catching some rays (as she says). James has been digging in the sand and running around with his net trying to find as many shells as he can. And sweet Price is happy as can be people watching and laughing at her brother and sister, BUT she certainly wants no sand on her AT ALL!! Last year she loved the sand and we couldn't keep her out of it! This year she is happy to be down there but wants to be sitting in my lap or on my hip (or DeeDee's) all the time! And of course they all love the pool- which is Price's absolute favorite. She could spend all day in a swimming pool....which is what we plan on doing all summer! I'm so thankful for good weather and a sweet day with the kids!
