Grafton turned 2 months old last week, and we celebrated with a big birthday cake and lots of pictures! She went to the doctor and had her first round of shots...she still weighs 10 lbs 3 oz and is 21 1/2 inches long, putting her in the 25 percentile in height and weight. She was very happy at the doctor's office and the doctor even commented on how much Grafton likes to talk! She is very vocal and has a big personality already!! We went to Memphis this weekend to shop for Grafton and visit Uncle Scott. And we got a visit from Pop as well- on his way Turkey hunting in South Mississippi! This week will be fun- we are heading to Nashville to visit our new friend Kaiser Martin (born a couple weeks ago) and see Caroline Kath again (4 months old). I am sure there will be lots of pictures from our visit!
Eric and I are just amazed by the new things Grafton does each week. Her favorite things right now are watching her mobil, watching tv (gets it from her dad!), and watching the ceiling fan! I lay her in her crib and she just stares at the bears on her mobile and smiles and laughs at them! One morning she even looked up at the fan and smiled at it. She is quite a flirt! She gets super busy at bedtime and fights the sleep a lot. She kicks and swings her arms around and talks to us before giving up and finally falling asleep. We feel so blessed to have such a happy baby and thank the Lord for her each day.

It so hard to believe that 2 months have gone by so fast! Grafton certainly captures the innocense of life. Hope to see her next month!
