Week 11

Grafton is growing and developing so much each week and her little personality is hilarious. She is pushing up very well during tummy time and loves trying to grab her toys on the playmat. She is still very vocal and loves to talk and scream! She smiles all the time and laughs at random things- the fan, her DeeDee and the TV. She still does not like to go to sleep at night- she gets really busy playing, kicking her legs and talking. Luckily, once she is asleep she has been sleeping through the night a lot of the time, giving mom some great rest! This week we had fun shopping, having a girl's day out with mom and DeeDee, and having some great father-daughter time over the weekend.

Unfortunately we did have another first this week...I am sad to say Grafton attended her first funeral. My Mom's sister passed away over the weekend, and our thoughts and prayers are with her friends and family. During a time of such grief and sadness, seeing a happy baby brought smiles to so many faces. It is amazing to see how God can use an innocent child to remind us of His grace and mercy.
