We cannot believe that Grafton turned 4 months old this past weekend. She is just growing up so quickly. We went for her 4 month check-up today and Grafton weighed in at 13 pounds 10 oz and is 24 inches tall. She moved up to the 50th percentile in weight and height (was the 25th at her 2 month check-up)!
So what is going on in Grafton's world right now? She is rolling over from back to front and front to back. She sleeps on her side or stomach- I can't get that little booger to stay on her back! Unfortunately, she has found her thumb...and LOVES to suck on it. No matter how much I give her the paci, she still somehow gets that thumb in there. We will definitely continue to try to break this habit!! Grafton is also trying soooo hard to sit up! She leans forward as hard as she can till she sits up, but then she can only hold it there a couple seconds before losing her balance. She also loves to stand up, with us holding her of course. She can get a little fussy then suddenly I stand her up and all her worries are gone! Her most favorite activity right now is "flying"....she loves to fly like superman around the room! She lifts her head up, stretches out her legs and zooms around the room. It is precious.
I felt so humbled and blessed yesterday to have the privilege of celebrating Mother's Day. I still get chill bumps looking into Grafton's eyes and realizing she is my daughter. God surely is amazing.
