Hello friends and family! Eric and I welcomed our little girl, Grafton, into the world on January 9, 2009 and our baby boy, James, on December 2, 2010! We have just been blessed with our precious baby girl, Price, who was born August 28, 2012. We feel incredibly blessed and humbled, and we thank our gracious Lord above for all of our amazing family and friends. We hope this blog can give you a glimpse into our lives and a taste of how precious our children are. God is so so good, and we praise His Holy name.

Hot Hot Hot

It has been such a hot summer (100+ degrees) that Grafton doesn't get to go outside to play too much right now except before bedtime when it has cooled down.  So, since we can't do outside activities, I have been trying to think of fun things to do inside!  Grafton is very interested in coloring- and doesn't just stick to the paper either....her picnic table is every color in the crayon box now! We have obviously watched too much TV because she has become obsessed with Barney and could watch it for hours if I let her.  We also bought her some learning videos- to teach her the ABC's, numbers, and shapes.  She can already recognize a lot of the letters and will yell out "A" real loudly when it comes up on the TV!  Of course we read about 20 books a day, over and over and over again, so she has now memorized some of books and will "read" them to me.  It is precious because she really can't correctly pronounce all the words but she sure does try!  She says "I love you" to us now and loves to sing the Barney song "I love you, you love me!"  It cracks me up!  Her favorite part of the day is bath time- she likes to take COOOOOLD baths.  If it is the least bit room temperature she yells "HOT" and grabs the cold water handle.  By the time I get her out of the bath she is freezing!  I am also happy to say she LOVES the church nursery.  Most children cry when their parents drop them off, but Miss Grafton cries when we pick her up to leave!  I can't wait for Mother's Morning Out to start in a couple of weeks- I know she will just love being with her friends.  Here are a few pictures from the past couple of weeks...
