The other day I was wiping Grafton's nose and said "Hold still real quick while I get something out of your nose," to which Grafton replies "It's what they call a booger Mommy!"

We have been working with Grafton on Mommy's name, Daddy's name, DeeDee's names, etc. and like to quiz her a lot. Here was our conversation the other day:
Me: What is Daddy's name?
Grafton: Daddy's name is Eric!
Me: Good! What is DeeDee's name?
Grafton: DeeDee's name is Debby!
Me: Good job! What is Mommy's name?
Grafton: Babe!! (apparently she has been listening to her Daddy!)

When Grafton woke up from her nap this afternoon, I got in bed with her for a little while to cuddle and talk. After about 20 minutes Grafton got up and said "Mommy, I have to go to playroom." I asked her why she had to go to the playroom and she exclaims "I have to go make toys...make toys for SANTA!" Needless to say she is OBSESSED with Christmas.
------------------------------------------
This afternoon I was playing with Grafton outside while we waited on Eric to get home from work. We were kicking her ball back and forth when suddenly Grafton took it and kicked it all around and started yelling "I'm a soccer man! I'm a soccer man!"
-------------------------------------------
Again this afternoon while we were outside playing, James began to fuss a little in his bouncey seat. I said "okay, Grafton, I have to stop playing and check on James." She looked at me and began running to James saying "NO Mommy, IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII talk to James! Bring me burp cloth, need to wipe mouth!" And she began wiping his face with the burp cloth, patting his head and saying "It's okay James, you're okay!" Such a little Mommy.
