Today was the first Ole Miss football game, and our children were such troopers all day long! We started off early in the Grove this morning and ended our day as the sun began to go down! This was James's first time tailgating and his first football game- and he really seemed to love all of it! Grafton had a blast as usual and was just so excited to be there. We always tailgate with my family, so it is nice to have a little help with the children. Eric's dad and step-mom came for a while, his brother's family came with their twin girls (James' age) and Thomas (Grafton's age), and Eric's sister Madelyn came! It was a blast seeing so many friends and family, and the kids had a really, really fun time playing with each other.
I am very lucky that both my children will take naps almost anywhere, so both kids took a nap in the grove and were ready for the game at 4! They waved pom-pons, and Grafton cheered for the Rebels! Her favorite part of the whole game experience is the half-time show. I swear this girl is going to be in the marching band....she LOVES watching them and dancing! It is hilarious to watch. I really could not be prouder of my children for being so so good all day long and sitting through the game like champs! It was a long day but so much fun. We are all looking forward to next weekend!
Here are lots of pictures from the day...
