TEN months old

I begged and begged for time to stand still but alas another month has come and gone, and James is yet another month older! My big sweet boy is TEN MONTHS old now! He is just as sweet and lovable as always and that big ole smile melts my heart every time.  He still Mr. Curious and is in to EV-ER-Y-THING but he easy-going demeanor makes him just precious. If I have said it once I have said it a thousand times, I absolute adore my baby James.

So....a day in the life of my 10 monther....lots of play time!  He still takes 3 naps a day most days but would only do 2 if it was his choice.  He is getting in his 9th tooth now, and I am sure that means that another one is soon to follow. He eats everything I give him, but his favorites are peas, carrots, potato, and toast.  I seriously have not seen him turn away from any food yet!! He pushes everything around the house- chairs, tables, the laundry basket- you name it! He also tries to walk all around the room holding on to the wall or furniture so he won't have to crawl. He can "free stand" for a few seconds but that is all. Poor guy just really wants to walk like the big kids!  He loves to swing, climb stairs, "bounce" in the bounce house, chew on everything, and watch his sister. His face lights up when he sees her- just a precious bond between them.

A couple of weeks ago I took James for his 9 month check-up (a little late).  He weighed 19.4 pounds (25 percentile) and is 26.5 inches long (3 percentile). Poor little guy has no hope for height! The Doctor said that seeing James so happy just made his day- that smile can turn anybody's bad day into a good one.

So here are his 10 month pictures. We were out of town this weekend and I didn't remember to take pictures until bedtime....so here he is in his pajamas!! Sweet baby James!
