After the 1st egg hunt on Saturday, the kids were excited to have another one that afternoon and one on Sunday. The weather was perfect for all of them, and the kids had such a fun time with friends while hunting for eggs. James's technique was: point at an egg with a HUGE smile, run over to it, open it up and dump out the candy, grab the candy and shove it in his mouth, then look for the next egg! He has had more candy the past 2 days than he has had his whole life. What I have learned: he won't turn down any candy, tootsie rolls stain his clothes, jelly beans make him drool which then turns his clothes red (or whatever color the jelly bean happens to be!), and he LOVES to shake shake shake the eggs filled with candy!
Grafton on the other hand tries to get as many eggs as she can and really doesn't want to share with anyone! The first egg she gets she immediately opens and pops the candy in her mouth...I guess she needs the energy for the rest of the hunt?! When the hunt is over, she is VERY serious about opening all the eggs and eating as much candy as she can. She does not want to be bothered by pictures or talking- she just wants the candy! So here are the pictures I got from the other 2 egg hunts we went to this weekend....
