First week of summer break

It's hard to believe that a week ago Grafton was graduating from preschool, and James had his last day of Mother's Morning Out. I have vowed to keep the kids busy this summer, have lots of fun every single day, and treasure the little moments God gives us- knowing that these next couple months are my last days with all 3 home all day every day!! Soooo we started the summer off with a bang--a trip to the zoo, pool time in the front yard, a day in Clarksdale, crafts and coloring at home, a little yard work....and lots of pictures of it all....

Grafton colored a card last week and said "Mommy, this is for Anna...and I want to put a stamp on it and MAIL it to her!!!" So we did- her sweet little friend received a card the other day from Grafton!

 Whenever we go to this Mexican restaurant in town, the kids get to go to the Dollar store as a treat if they are good. The other night Eric took them down there and this is how I found them- piled in the basket! Just a basket full of love :)

 ZOO!!!!

 We were so happy that my childhood friend Amanda was able to join us at the zoo with her little boy Charlie and her sweet Mom. Amanda and I became friends when we were 3 years old, and now our children are friends as well- very special.
