Hello friends and family! Eric and I welcomed our little girl, Grafton, into the world on January 9, 2009 and our baby boy, James, on December 2, 2010! We have just been blessed with our precious baby girl, Price, who was born August 28, 2012. We feel incredibly blessed and humbled, and we thank our gracious Lord above for all of our amazing family and friends. We hope this blog can give you a glimpse into our lives and a taste of how precious our children are. God is so so good, and we praise His Holy name.

Fun July Days

It has been a fun and busy couple of weeks. We have been in town for the most part, and I have tried my best to keep us busy with play dates, activities, and special treats each day. We have done some trampoline jumping, chick-fil-a eating, playground playing, pizza and ice cream eating, and bounce house bouncing.  We have made a trip to Clarksdale and a trip to Memphis. Grafton has been going to her reading class, we have been swimming a few times, and we even got out on the tennis courts a little. We have literally had something to do, somewhere to go, and some sweet people to see every day for the past 2 weeks, so I think we are all a little exhausted and ready for some down time!! But how blessed we have been to have friends and family to play with and visit, and what a great July we have experienced. Here is a little of what we have been doing...

Price eats EVERYTHING...including this donut that she loved!

Grafton went to a Fire Truck birthday party last week- how fun is that?! They played in the water hoses and sprinklers, then got to play in the fire trucks and eat cake! The kids and a blast and the fire men were so so sweet to them.

DeeDee is such a trooper! She was playing "marching band" with the kids on this particular day!"
 My 2nd set of hands
 TV coma!
I love that they have the whole couch, but they choose to sit right next to each other. They always do this- it cracks me up!
Grafton is giving me a run for my money these days. She has such a sweet and giving heart, but her mind is too quick and smart! I think she is 4 1/2 going on 14! She gives us more attitude and spunk than we can handle sometimes!!
Price got this excited watching Daddy cut grass! Pretty much anything makes her excited and happy, but she has especially grown closer to Eric this month...meaning she lights up when he walks in the room! I love those chunky legs and chubby rolls!
Eric and I thought Price was napping before church....then we saw this in the monitor! Little turkey found the camera!
My friend suggested I do this on "busy" park days...swing sharing! Cracked me up!
Playing outside one night....as we do EVERY night.
Grafton loves going to the dentist!
Bathing beauty! Bath time is a favorite at our house.
With Grafton at reading class a few days a week, I get some special time with my little guy while Price naps. We get to play games, have breakfast dates, and spend some precious time together.
One night I was putting Grafton to sleep and she said "You know Mommy, sometimes I love you SOOO much that I just can't handle it!" It was sweet, it was funny, and it bought her 10 more minutes of cuddle time!!
 Swimming!!!

It was getting close to bedtime one night when James looked out and saw the sprinkler on in the back yard. I knew exactly what he was thinking, so out we all went for a redneck naked sprinkler run! (just the kids of course!!!) Such a fun and random memory!
Slip n' slide!! This was James's 1st time and he loved it! Grafton has always had a blast with it, and Price was jealous that she missed all the fun! We hooked up 2 so that it was extra long :)

Girls night = painted nails and perfume!
Grafton and James have been wanting to sleep together so I figures last weekend was as good a night as any. It started out okay....until they woke each other up at 3 AM and stayed awake for 2 1/2 hours!! We were all a little tired after that!
While Grafton was reading on day, I took James to the tennis court for his first lesson (with me of course!). He LOVED it and did so well!!
So then we had a family tennis night!! The kids had a blast, and I'm pretty sure this is going to become a common occurrence at our house!
