Hello friends and family! Eric and I welcomed our little girl, Grafton, into the world on January 9, 2009 and our baby boy, James, on December 2, 2010! We have just been blessed with our precious baby girl, Price, who was born August 28, 2012. We feel incredibly blessed and humbled, and we thank our gracious Lord above for all of our amazing family and friends. We hope this blog can give you a glimpse into our lives and a taste of how precious our children are. God is so so good, and we praise His Holy name.

February flop!

So, as the title of this post says, this was a major flop in the blog department for the month of February! I took lots of pictures and did some fun stuff, but I haven't had the time to post any of it! Ah! It has taken me over an hour to get the pictures together and narrowed down just for this one post. So be prepared- there are lots of pictures below and you will be tired of seeing our faces by the time you get to the end! BUT, it also shows you what we have been up to the past few weeks and why we have been so busy. I have loved this month. It has been cold, it has snowed, it has been sunny, it has been 70 degrees! We have had some crazy, happy times and some yucky days full of tears, spanking, and time-outs. The past couple of weeks have been rather trying for us...as Price is nearing the terrible two's, James is mastering the horrible three's, and Grafton is perfecting her disobeying skills, BUT with lots of prayer and lots of discipline I am hoping for more fun times in the weeks ahead! No one said life with a 1 1/2 year old, a 3 year old and a 5 year old would be EASY...but thank goodness it is fun and exciting and chaotic and hilarious! Our Friday nights are filled with temper tantrums, thrown toys, puppies barking, drinks spilling, a messy house, bubble baths, wii Mario Kart, slobbery kisses, sweet prayers, beautiful random singing, and lots of laughter. And Eric leaned over to me a few minutes ago and said "Babe, I wouldn't change a single thing about our life!" Pretty amazing.

Uncle Scott gave the kids his wii that he doesn't use anymore, and they are having a blast playing wii Mario Kart! It is our new nightly ritual- a handful of games before bedtime! I love seeing them concentrate so hard! My favorite party is seeing Grafton get better each time and seeing James NEVER give up even though he always comes in last! He has the best attitude I have ever seen!
It was lunch time and I had put Grafton and James each in the corner for bad behavior. So, of course, Price throws a fit to get out of her high chair and where does she go when I put her down? The corner of course!!! She put herself in the corner, too, and was so so proud!
Once every couple of weeks we have breakfast for dinner. Eric makes pancakes for the kids and they give him certain objects that they want! This particular night Grafton wanted a Barbie....and I thought Eric did an incredible job making her one!! Love this artsy dad!
National Signing Day at our house may as well be a football game day! We have to dress in our Rebel attire and cheer for the team throughout the day!

This is one very loved little puppy. She is sweet, sleeps awesome (in mine and Eric's bed!), doesn't have accidents, and loves to cuddle! The kids won't leave her alone and play with her constantly. I love it!
It snowed on Scott's birthday! Grafton had fun playing with it while we were celebrating him that day! She made her own snowman....I call it a "southern girl's snow man"...can you see it?!
Dinner at Stix! Grafton LOVES this place...it is her new favorite and ironically it was mine and Eric's favorite when we were first married!

Have I said that Layla is loved loved loved?!?!

This girls is one of a kind! Always on the go, always dressed in her own, quirky clothes, and always laughing.
Why would I post this picture?! Because, this is the FIRST apple she has bitten into with the skin on! YAY!!!!! Grafton and James are both FINALLY biting into apples and eating the entire thing! It took 5 years, but Grafton asks me almost daily for an apple now. It sure does make this Mommy's life a tad easier!

They love their weekend slumber parties! Grafton and James sleep in the playroom in their sleeping bags every Friday and Saturday night and they absolutely love it!

What can I say about our precious Pricey! She is such a 3rd kid! She has her own style- her favorites are her furry house shoes, her polka dot coat, her new bikini, a bracelet, a necklace, and her boots. Sometimes we leave the house in a precious smocked dress....and furry house shoes! She always, always, always has on a bracelet. She is also so funny and quirky- she is like James in that she does everything to get a laugh out of you! She will put food on her face or make a random sound or pretend to fall down then look at you and start laughing and make sure you laugh too! And oh my goodness, she loves her sweets! Cookies, ice cream, cupcakes....I'm not sure what her favorite would be! I will say, she will absolutely take you down for an oatmeal cream pie though. Like father like daughter! This silly little "almost" 18 month old girl makes us smile so much. She wants to be held all the time, she wants her way, she wants to do what her sister and brother are doing, and she wants to be attached to her Daddy at all times....and we love every single inch of her.
And this silly dude....this beautiful, blonde haired, dimply grin, little angel boy is such a blessing! He has the sweetest heart I have ever seen! He is a big "sharer." He will give anyone anything. This week he had the MOST DELICIOUS cookie ever, and Grafton wanted it of course.....and James so sweetly gave it to her without thinking twice. He always does this. He is so sweet and selfless. He loves his sisters more than anything in the world. He is also such a precious cuddler. He hugs, he kisses, he cuddles. I could squeeze him all day long. His teacher told me this week that James has a "heart of gold" and it melted my heart that she could see this. She said he is so sweet at school (granted he can be rough and crazy!) and is the most energetic little guy she has ever seen! He is like a sweet ball of fire! And he makes us laugh so much! My heart is full thinking of him.
And then our beautiful Grafton girl...so smart, so sweet, so loving. She amazes me every day with the words she says. She recites poems, she recites scriptures, she will even recite a commercial she saw on TV!!!!! She is very much attached to me right now which is sweet (sometimes tough but sweet!). She wears a pearl necklace every day to school because I gave her an old one I had, and she cherishes it with every piece of her heart. She is my big helper- she feeds Layla, she feeds the fish, she loves to help me clean the house, she helps me entertain Price, and she even helps James in the potty! ha! She is sensitive. She is very confident. She loves to sing. She loves to compete. She loves to learn. She is so beautiful inside and out, and I could just listen to her precious, scratchy voice all day long!

Eating snow cream for the first time!
 Our new nap time!
Grafton went to a tea party and LOVED being such a girlie girl!
Grafton decided she was ready to ride a bike with no training wheels....let the learning begin!

Ahhhh...warmer weather means morning walks at the park!! Such a perfect way to start the day! Beautiful, calm, peaceful, sweet.

Grafton and Anna. Their friendship began in the one year old Mothers' Morning Out class, and it continues 4 years later as they are sweet little soccer stars! I love this sweet friendship.
Screened porch lunches are the best!
 Hi Peanut!
I walked into the room and found the kids cuddled up watching Annie- their new favorite movie! James breaks out singing "Tomorrow tomorrow! I love you! Tomorrow!" daily!!!!!
 Picture perfect baby girl!
