What a bittersweet day May 22nd was....the end of Grafton's Pre-K year and the end of her first year at a big girl school. My, oh my, what a wonderful year it has been at Regents. Grafton learned so many things and grew in such wonderful ways. She is writing so well, she is reading better, she is drawing pictures all the time, she is reciting scripture and teaching her brother Bible stories, she is telling me about different animals and educating me on clouds and the solar system! She has made some precious friends but has also learned that it is okay to play by herself sometimes. I won't lie...I definitely cried some tears on her last day of school...the end of a little chapter in her life but also the beginning of so much more. Grafton is R-E-A-D-Y to be a kindergartener and tells me this ALL THE TIME! I could not be more proud of this little girl.
