Mother's Day!

How blessed we all are to have Moms in the world! Whether it is your biological mother, your friends' mothers, or women in your life who feel like a mother to you, we are blessed by their wisdom and love and support. Moms give us hugs when we need them, they kiss our boo-boos, they listen to our problems, they laugh at jokes that aren't funny, they brush our hair as gently as possible so we don't scream in pain, they hold our hands while we watch cartoons, they teach us to read, they teach us to respect others, they make every meal we eat, they some how keep going when they feel they have no energy left. Mothers give us advice, they help us accomplish our goals, they are our extra set of hands, they are our best friends, and they fill our heart up with such warmness. Mothers would give their life for their children. A mother's heart breaks when she sees her child cry, she feels their pain when her children get hurt, she is nervous when her child tries something new, and she feels such pride when she sees her children succeed. A mother spends much time at the feet of the Lord, praying for her children and pleading for good health, lots of joy, and heart full of the Holy Spirit.  Yep, mother's are something very very special...and I am blessed to have an absolutely fantastic mother by my side! And I am even more blessed to have 3 precious children who have made me a mom too!
