We had the brilliant idea of having a joint birthday party for the kids this year- one big party, lots of friends and family, presents galore, and get it all done at one time!! Grafton and James really do have a blast with each other, so I figured why not take advantage of that and celebrate their birthdays together this year! After gathering all of these creative party ideas, we decided to take the easy way out and rent out Cloud 9- the bounce house place in town. It was PERFECT! I didn't have to worry about setting up or cleaning up- I just showed up a little early, brought cake and ice cream and snacks, and the party started! The kids bounced, played with trains, played air hockey (Grafton's favorite), rode on plasma cars, and chased each other around. It was so fun having sweet friends there to celebrate our children. Grafton and James had THE BEST time ever!! It brought me such joy to see the excitement in their smiles....they really were on Cloud 9 :)
God has blessed us with so many friends and family who love our children and who take time out of their day to celebrate them with us. Thank you, friends, for making my children feel like the most special ones in the world today! My heart and THEIR hearts are smiling tonight.
