Hello friends and family! Eric and I welcomed our little girl, Grafton, into the world on January 9, 2009 and our baby boy, James, on December 2, 2010! We have just been blessed with our precious baby girl, Price, who was born August 28, 2012. We feel incredibly blessed and humbled, and we thank our gracious Lord above for all of our amazing family and friends. We hope this blog can give you a glimpse into our lives and a taste of how precious our children are. God is so so good, and we praise His Holy name.

Won't let a little RSV keep us down!

Unfortunately the yucks have hit the Graeber house this week. James was diagnosed with a throat infection, which caused high fever, which developed into a horrible cough, which was finally diagnosed as RSV.  The dreaded virus you never want to see. After spitting out medicine for days, James finally got a shot which cleared things up quickly and he is pretty much back to normal now.  Last week, Grafton got the stomach bug (while James had the throat infection) but was back to her normal happy self after a yucky night.  Now she is coming down with a cold....but that is pretty much to be expected this time of year anyway.  The big disappointment came yesterday, when poor baby Price was diagnosed with RSV.  Yes.  That thing you NEVER want a baby to get.  Right now she is okay, her lungs are clear and she is drinking, she just has a low grade fever and congestion.  We all know these things can change in a matter of hours, so we are praying that she doesn't develop any more symptoms and can just have a mild case.

The best thing about all of this? That God always shows His face in times of trials like these. We are blessed that Price is smiling and cooing and happy while we know she feels so lousy.  James is running around like the wild man he is, and I am getting lots of extra hugs and cuddles from him.  And Grafton is showering them both with kisses and affection (wonder how she got that cold?!). It is never easy to see your children sick and it is exhausting at times to care for them, but God always has His hands on us and He is the Healer of all. It is wonderful to see His work in our house right now as we try to get passed this yucky time. And I am so so thankful to have Eric be able to stay home and help us for a couple days and to have DeeDee here when I need her most. God is Good all the time.
Waiting to see the Doctor...would you ever imagine she was sick??
 Diagnosed with RSV...still smiling though
After a night of little sleep this sweet boy finally got comfortable
Grafton is always there for a hug!
Coloring a box? NO! Making a rocket ship!! Sick days aren't always bad.
fever? check. cough? check. smiles? check check check!!!
