On Saturday Scott and his girlfriend, Kirsten, came to town to celebrate my birthday (the celebration has lasted and lasted!) and my parents took us all out to dinner. It was really a fantastic day! Eric and I got up and took James to Bottletree for breakfast before going to get Grafton at DeeDee and Pops' house. Once we got to my parents house, we decided it would be more fun for Grafton to go to the playground and then come home in time for Scott to play with her....so DeeDee and Pops took her to the playground while Eric and I went home to get ready for the day. Around lunch time, Scott and Kirsten got here and we blew up the bounce house in the yard....waiting for Grafton to get home to play! She was sooooo excited to see Uncle Scott and ran to her bounce house to jump with him. My parents picked up lunch for all of us and we had such a nice afternoon at our house, playing with the kids, talking, and enjoying the gorgeous weather. Saturday night we had my birthday dinner....Mexican (my favorite) then DeeDee and Pops put the kids to bed while we enjoyed a little adult time with Scott and Kirsten. It was such a nice day and night, and I felt quite special! Here are lots of pictures from the day!
