Hello friends and family! Eric and I welcomed our little girl, Grafton, into the world on January 9, 2009 and our baby boy, James, on December 2, 2010! We have just been blessed with our precious baby girl, Price, who was born August 28, 2012. We feel incredibly blessed and humbled, and we thank our gracious Lord above for all of our amazing family and friends. We hope this blog can give you a glimpse into our lives and a taste of how precious our children are. God is so so good, and we praise His Holy name.

The two babies

What a fun and special Saturday I have had at home with my 2 youngest children.  Grafton has been begging to spend the night at DeeDee's house, so she got the special treat of staying with her last night and hasn't wanted to come back home yet! She really loves her time with DeeDee, and I couldn't be happier for her to get the one-on-one time and be center of attention for the day. Eric went to the farm to help his dad out for most of the day, so this means that I got a morning with the two babies- James and Price! I say two babies because in so many ways James is still a baby!!

I knew before I had Price that James would need an adjustment period of not being the only baby anymore.  I couldn't have been more right.  He absolutely adores his baby sister, but I have noticed recently that he is a bit jealous and is missing his "mommy time" a lot. For instance, he wants me to carry him around EVERYWHERE (I assume because he sees me carry Price everywhere). This is fine but gets exhausting lugging around a 30 pound kid while I cook, clean, pick up toys, etc. Yesterday he REALLY showed his true feelings at naptime... He woke up from his nap and came to my room to sleep a bit longer with me.  He slept for about 30 minutes then Price woke up so I had to care for her.  I changed her diaper and put her in bed with us so I could feed her.  Well James did NOT like that at all! He climbed on top of me then tried to wedge himself between me and Price while yelling and pointing at Price's bassinet! He was telling me to put her back where she was!!!  Luckily he hasn't been mean to Price at all and just showers her in kisses instead, but I can tell he is just a little "off" right now and may need a little special attention.

Luckily today was the day for special attention! Price has slept most of the day so I have been able to hug on, play with, and spoil James for hours!  He has been so happy and excited, and I have really loved the time with my special little guy!  He is such a joy and makes me laugh so much. I think this kid could burn the house down, and I would still squeeze his precious little body and kiss those cheeks! He is really one of a kind, and I am thankful for days like this that remind me!!

Oh...is there a baby in the bouncey? oops!

Pretty P got some attention too!

I love how he is holding her hand

My big girl

There are those kisses again!

Are his dimples not to die for!?!

My giggle monster!
