I am a ridiculously emotional mommy. I cry at every milestone, every birthday, every "first" and every "last." So when I realized I had 2 weeks left with my Grafton girl, I vowed to make every day special for us. This week we have played with friends, we have had ice cream, we had a cousin day, we went to the park, we shopped, we painted, we had DeeDee time, we had a girl's night, and tomorrow we are having a pool day. I've been trying to think of all of Grafton's favorite things to do, and I am making it a point to do it all! Yes, I have cried every single day thinking of this new stage of life that we are about to enter (the "school days" phase) and I know I am probably going to cry every day next week too, but luckily Grafton couldn't be more excited about starting school!! The other day she told me "Mommy, you know that when I am not with you I miss you so much.....but I am really excited about starting my new school!!!" Such a big girl. Such a big heart. Such a precious soul.
Trying on her new school uniforms
It's an airplane of course!!
Hotty Toddy, little rebel!! Ready for some football!
Just a normal breakfast for these two...
Bath baby
Not my smartest parenting decision but they sure did have a lot of fun!
Price's first ice cream cone! Love at first taste!
All in an hour's time....this boy has way too much energy!!!
I am afraid to get too excited, but Price currently LOVES her baby dolls. Granted she loves cars and trains too....but maybe I will get a girlie girl after all?!?!
Sweet cousin Rachel and baby Abigail came to Oxford for the day! Lots of fun with these kiddos.
James had a slumber party with DeeDee and boy was he excited!! He asks me every day if he can go to DeeDee's house, so this was a HUGE treat for him!
Movie night with my big girl!! She loved Turbo and is dying to see it again!
Suddenly I hear "Mommy! Look! The chair ate me!!!" This girl is full of humor.
Oh how quickly these kids have gone from "this" to "this"...almost a year has gone by in the blink of an eye.
Impromptu trip to the playground! Sometimes the most fun activities are the random, last minute, unplanned ones.
