SCHOOL!!!!

The day has finally arrived! Grafton has been looking forward to this day for months....I, on the other hand, have been dreading this day for years! Today is Grafton's 1st day of Pre-K. She woke up so so excited to be going to school. By 7:15 she was begging me to put her in the car and take her! She said "But Mommy, I am the only one of my friends not there already!!!" (School doesn't start till 8:00!)

DeeDee came over to take Grafton to school with me, and we all walked her in. Grafton kept saying "Walk faster! Walk faster!!" There were definitely no tears shed by her this morning- she was all smiles and ready to take on the world!

I could not be more thankful that God has given her such confidence. I could not be more thankful that God has blessed her with an outgoing personality, a love for people, and such a sweet spirit. I could not be more thankful that her first day of school was just perfect for her! Of course I cried many tears, James was bored at home, and we all watched the clock till it was time to pick her back up- but knowing that Grafton was having so much fun made it all better! What a great year we have ahead of us.

 James missed his sister SOOO much this morning. He was lost and bored without her. It is now 3 o'clock and he still can't stop hugging her!!
